This directive, 2011/65/EU, is being taken very seriously by the Floyd Bell Team and we're happy to report that our entire product line is RoHS compliant. This is denoted on the specification sheet by a green RoHS logo.

Pursuant to the 2015/863/EU directive, the entire Floyd Bell product line is RoHS 3 compliant and do not contain any of the below-mentioned 10 Hazardous substances above the specified limits.

  • Mercury: 0.1%
  • Lead (Pb): 0.1%
  • Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+): 0.1%
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB): 0.1%
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE): 0.1%
  • Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): 0.1% (added in 2015)
  • Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): 0.1% (added in 2015)
  • Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): 0.1% (added in 2015)
  • Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): 0.1% (added in 2015

All Floyd Bell products are compliant with the REACH directive put forth by the European Union. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) applies to hazardous chemicals outlined in the directive as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in Article 59 current through June 10, 2022.

This directive: (1) requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment who sell into EU countries to label the equipment for appropriate disposal, and (2) encourages consumers of such equipment to appropriately recycle the equipment at the end of their lifespan.
